Hotels in Xi'an
All the hotels we feature here are located in the historic part of town within the old city walls, two of them are sister hotels on Renmin Square.
The Bell Tower Hotel
The Bell Tower Hotel is located right in the city centre, across the road from Xi'an’s fourteen century Bell Tower, the city’s symbol. The hotel was renovated in 2007 and offers guests convenience and comfort. Hotel facilities include a Chinese and a western-style restaurant that serves buffets, gym, beauty salon and business centre. The 300 rooms have telephone, tea and coffee maker, radio, satellite TV, hairdryer, safe, iron and ironing board, minibar and internet access.
Sofitel
The Sofitel Hotel on Renmin Square is one of China’s ‘platinum’ rated hotels, and it stands alongside many ancient buildings within the city walls, a striking modern glass and steel structure. There are 414 rooms with bathtub and separate rainforest showers, wireless internet access, and hotel facilities include a Cantonese, a Mediterranean, a Japanese and an International restaurant, a café and three bars, a spa with hammam, indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, gym and thalassotherapy.
Grand New World Hotel
A modern 4-star hotel near the West Gate and within the city walls with 500 rooms. It offers guests free internet access, satellite TV, minibar, telephone and safe in the rooms, and a business centre, indoor pool, sauna and gym, café, bar, currency exchange and beauty salon. The Dynasty restaurant features Chinese cuisine, whilst the Coffee Shop serves international dishes.
Grand Mercure Hotel
The Grand Mercure is located on the historic Renmin Square in a building dating from 1957 with a very grand lobby. There are 200 rooms, bathrooms have a jacuzzi-style bath, Wi-fi access, tea and coffee making facilities, and the hotel has a gym, business centre, beauty salon, deli and gift shop. The restaurant serves Chinese and Western food with a French flair.
